Take the Risk out of Renting
The team @home are always looking out for potential tenancy risks, while our competitors continue to use "standard forms and letters" we are always evolving and improving our systems. Below are the most recent changes made to our Residential Tenancy Agreement.
2.12a Floor Boards
The tenant agrees to not cause damage to floor boards by moving furniture without protection, applying protective pads on hard furnishings and not walking on floors with heels or shoes. The tenant agrees that if an area is damaged the whole floor in that room is to be sanded and re polished professionally. Fair wear and tear will be considered.
2.12b Stainless Steel and Granite
The tenant agrees not to use harsh chemicals or abrasive products to clean stainless steel and granite. The tenant agrees to purchase specialised cleaning products or use hot water and a non abrasive cloth for these areas.
2.12c Picture Hooks
The tenant must request permission to place picture hooks in the property. If a tenant requests a photo wall with several hooks, the owner may agree subject to the removal and repainting at the end of tenancy. Contact the agent for approval. No screws, nails, stick on items or blu tack is permitted.
