Right from the beginning @Home Property have been extremely supportive.
Matt was readily available and helped me locate the premises I now call home all in a matter of a few days. I was anticipating the process to be long and drawn out, but with his assistance I found a lovely unit, which exceeded all my expectations.

Given this is my first time renting through a property management business, the team at @Home Property assisted me greatly with the application process by providing me with time-frames and requirements as to what was needed to do in order to be successful with my application.

The prompt service that I receive when ever I have needed assistance or questions has been amazing. The team are always pleasant and professional and very encouraging. They always give me positive feedback following home inspections or ideas to ensure that my tenancy can continue and I note a time when I came home late one night to a burst hot water cylinder and they managed to have it repaired by the following morning so that I was not out of hot water over a holiday period. It's this type of service and assistance that has made my transition to living on my own a breeze.

When you phoned me this morning, I thought you were going to tell me that one of our houses had burned down or something equally horrible.
So I was absolutely stunned that you had gone to the trouble of reviewing the Ferrall St house for us.

Every award that your agency ever wins is just so highly deserved and I think that it was our lucky, lucky day when Terry recommended you to us. We are getting a bit long in the tooth to be taking on big mortgages now but I wish could...just so you could look after them for us.

I am also quite impressed that you have summed up the type of property that would appeal to me. You really are very good!
Our experience of rental agents up here has not been anywhere near as fortunate .....and was a major factor in our decision to sell up our properties. The one we have on the market now is our last. Where our agents really let us down up here was in regard to their inspections.

I very much appreciate the meticulous care that your agency takes in doing these. It allows us to deal with maintenance issues that our tenants have not necessarily noticed (or thought important enough to report) before they become huge problems.

I have had my property in Notley street for 7 – 8 years and have never resorted to putting under the wings of property management due to my thoughts of property management being a waste of money. This is the first agency that I have dealt with and have no reason to look anywhere else due to the professionalism and precise response on any request which I have made. The service from @home property solutions gives me reason to continue with property management and would never hesitate in recommending @home services to anyone looking to rent their home out. Also after managing the property myself, @home managed to gain an extra $25 p/w – keep the money coming guys!!!!

I changed the management of my rental properties to @home 9 months ago, and I wish I had done it earlier. I felt welcome and valued by the friendly staff the minute I walked in the door. I had not seen inside my rental properties for over 10 years, so Michelle invited me along to their first inspection, which I really appreciated. I was concerned at the changeover from the previous property manager, but they did it all for me and it and made it seem easy.

I am regularly kept informed of how my properties are going and of any maintenance requirements, and they are always attended to promptly by Sally. They are a wonderful team, and I certainly wouldn't have anyone else manage them.

Nothing seems to be too much trouble

We have now been with Michelle and the crew at Home Property Management for 2 years, and it is an absolute pleasure to write on their behalf.
We are absentee landlords with two properties under their care. Michelle and her team were referred to us with high recommendations, by a local real estate agent and their reputation has proved to be very well founded.

Nothing seems to be too much trouble, and apart from looking after our rental situations, maintenance etc, with impeccable efficiency, they have also been very willing to answer and solve our long range queries on a number of topics not necessarily in their normal run of operations. In fact they have made us feel comfortable to ring up with relatively trivial requests and general information on the district.
We have been property owners here in Townsville for many years, and have yet to find someone up here who offers such a personalised service and does such a thorough job –this is doubly important when you are long range.

To put it bluntly Michelle and her staff knock the socks off our local crews, who just do it as a job and not as a vocation. I gather that @home rentals have won some awards, so I presume there are others like us who rejoice in finally having found such a dedicated and approachable outfit .

We recommend them to everyone we know thinking of moving to Tasmania (Launceston).Their success is well earned

We wanted responsible and reliable assistance to ensure that our property was safe and in good hands. We interviewed and checked out three separate property management businesses and selected @home, as they seemed very focused, quick to act and very approachable. They moved into action and within two weeks, our place was attractively advertised and our new tenant was already moving through the rental process. Until I moved the care of my small rental house to @home Property Management I had no idea just what a comprehensive and worry-free service one could be given.

My previous experience, with a general real estate agent, was sometimes disappointing, confusing and worrying. Because I live in Victoria and am not able to easily inspect my Launceston property, I relied on the agent to keep me informed of needed maintenance and repairs.

During a period of extensive maintenance, I was not able to get a detailed overview of the condition of my property or of work proposed. Communication was poor. It was necessary for me to make direct contact with two tradesmen so that some needed work could be discussed and I had to send a representative to Launceston to inspect and photograph the house.

Having made contact with @home Property Management, I was surprised at the speed and precise detail of answers to my questions. Further, I was delighted to be offered services such as the management of accounts for council rates, water and insurance. I was also gratified to be given advice as to ensuring the comfort of the tenants while making realistic decisions about repairs and replacements and was happily impressed when a notification and description of one needed repair was accompanied by a photograph and advice as how best to deal with the problem.

I can say that since changing to @home Property Management I have not had a single worry regarding my rental property. Previously I had concluded that my property was too small and unimportant to merit much attention, but @home Property Management have looked after my affairs with all the enthusiasm and care I could possibly wish for. Thank you so much, Michelle and Sally. I’d recommend your services to anyone who enquired.

All Home Services have been taking care of Property Maintenance and Improvements for @home Property Management for the last 18 months. We have heard all of the bad stories from our competitors about working for property managers who don’t clearly relate work requests, don’t have correct keys available, don’t respond to phone calls on points of clarification, don’t pay on time and the list goes on.

We love working for @home because none of the above applies. Michelle, Matthew, Celeste and Jo honestly are a joy to work for. Their friendly attitude is just one of the benefits for us and it is clear that they have a real heart for their clients. Only 5 days to find a suitable tenant

Just to let you know how much I appreciate your service. Everyone is warm, friendly and helpful. This is such a refreshing change compared to some previous experiences I've had as a tenant. I especially like the fact that you can view properties by appointment and not have to try and turn up at "open homes" which is so inconvenient. And then you have to view the property with other prospective tenants (often lining up to do so) which can be so stressful.

The standard of work is very high

I have only been renting with this company from last December ,but have noticed the staff standard of work is very high and they are pleasant to deal with. Some real estate companies seem to have staff that are bits of hard cases that get bossy when its not necessary, but I've found At Home to be different.The property I'm renting is of a good quality and I found the staff to be very fair when I had to do my condition report, before I moved in. They suggested that it was good to find any faults, before I moved in, that they may have missed.

A short time ago our rental property was managed by a realty office, (the property is in Tasmania and we live in Queensland) big mistake, they were more concerned with the tenant than us their client; and because of this we lost money, a friend suggested that we find a non realty property manager which we did, thank you Google, At home property management came up trumps in our research, so we decided to give them a go, what a blessing they turned out to be, they handle everything from obtaining a good tenant and all the finances concerning our asset, from rates and taxes through to insurance payments.

Fabulous! A New Tenants Perspective

The team from @Home are like none other we've ever dealt with! My husband and I have both bought and rented properties and with a recent move from the Gold Coast to Launceston finding a rental property has NEVER been so anxiety free. We were made to feel like they wanted us to secure a property not like they were doing us a favor by showing us through the property, which they arranged with me personally after hours and at lightening speed, to view the following day (& I might mention not at a time just convenient to them, and not along with five other possible applicants where you're made to feel like it's a competition). In fact in all the years we've dealt with real estates we've never come across a team who seem to value tenants the way they do.

If this is how they treat good tenants I can only imagine how they value their clients/landlords!

I have been renting houses for over 20 years and without qualification, @homepropertymanagement is the best real estate agency I have ever dealt with. From securing our home interstate right through to the process of property management, I have found this agency to be extremely efficient, quick and friendly. They have at all times done everything within their power to help us with any problem and have maintained a balance of professionalism and friendliness which is refreshing and welcomed. We may move to another house in future but we WILL NOT change real estate agents. Any renter would be crazy to move away from @homeproperty. If only other real estate agencies followed their example real estate agencies wouldn't have such a bad reputation.

Skilled Mowing deals with many Property Management providers in the greater Launceston area in providing landscape maintenance for rental properties. When we were approached by a “new comer” several years ago we were only too happy to provide our services to them as well. It didn’t take long for us to realize that At Home Property Management was a very different property management company to the rest of the main stream.

Attention to every detail is given by these guys. They actually do care, not only about the best interests of the land lord, and the tenant, but also about their service providers. Second best just will not do. We very quickly learned that they treat each property as though it were one of their own personal investment properties!We were used to the “its only a rental” attitude when preparing quotes, but At Home Property Management Demand that the landlord is receiving the best quality work at the best possible price in a timely, Professional manner. They then follow up on all work done so that they can personally give person to person feed back to the land lord.

We also receive back through At Home Property Management feedback from the landlord voicing their satisfaction or otherwise, at the works we have carried out. This happens very rarely with other property management companies. At Home Property Management also have meetings with us regularly to discuss any problems, better systems, invoicing, or to simply “catch up” with our team to make sure all is well and to touch base. They have become more to us than just another company to deal with. They have become very good friends, all of them, including Celeste and Jo, and as such their clients benefit from that by receiving the very best from us when we attend their properties.

Late last year we made the decision to have our investment property managed professionally. After speaking with several real estate agents, @home Property Management definitely stood out! We really liked the fact that @home dealt solely with property management. The property management systems and processes they have in place far exceeded anything else other agents offered - this gave us confidence that our property would be well looked after. What I needed from a property Management company was their ability and my trust in them to handle anything regards the properties without always having to double check or question that they were acting for me and in my best interest. I am writing in relation to the level service that I have been given from the @Home property management group.

I work and live in Europe and have no time to deal with my investment property in Launceston. This has been an absolute headache for me until I was introduced to the team at @Home. From my very first contact with the company I was impressed. The ladies that I have been dealing with are polite, considerate, professional and extremely organised.
They have taken into consideration every aspect of owning an investment property, and of leasing a property, and this consideration is then supported by any necessary legal documentation.

The level of professionalism that I have received from @Home is really what has astounded me. Working with many international companies on a daily basis I am often disappointed with their service and structure, this was not the case with @Home. The layout of the offices is clean, organised and well positioned. The ladies I dealt with are polite, organised and add just the right amount of personal touch to their dealings with me as a client. First and only choice

We wish to express our gratitude to the team at @Home Property Management.

We are currently in the process of relocating from Melbourne to Launceston and have recently been approved for a property managed by Sally. Moving interstate is a fairly stressful process, especially when it comes to finding the perfect property, but Sally was able to reassure us and make us feel much more at ease with the transition.

Any calls we made were responded to within 10 minutes and any emails we sent (no matter what time of day or night), were answered promptly. Whenever we spoke with any member of the @ Home team they were always friendly, professional and ready to assist us in any way possible.

Having looked at the possibility of renting through other agencies, we noted the extreme difference present within the @ Home team in regards to both their professionalism and their “can-do” attitude. @home took control of everything to do with organising renting my property as I was getting ready to relocate interstate. It was so easy. I made a phone call and Michelle arrived at my home and explained everything I needed to know. I am contacted all the time with up dates of my home in Tasmania and I do not need to worry about how it is being looked after.
Sally is a gem. I always look forward to receiving emails from her and she is always polite and friendly. Sally always gets the job done.

In the 5 months we have been renting from @Home Property Management, I have found them to be unique in their business dealings and an example of this was when we received flowers on the birth of our daughter Maddison Jayde in December 2010. This came as such a surprise because I have never come across a Real Estate that is so approachable, encouraging, friendly and supportive. I have found it difficult to summerise on many aspects of your professional growing business, because how can you describe 10/10 in everything that you all do.!

@ Home are a fantastic TEAM. We have our two properties with Michelle and Matthew and we have nothing but PRAISE for all that they do.
The service did not just start when managing the properties, but well before this. Many a phone call I have had with Michelle, and everyone of them has been professional, sincere, reassuring, easily organised and nothing is ever a problem. Michelle has assisted me also with competitive insurances for these properties, and also referred a firm for depreciation schedules (which I am most happy with their service). They go that extra mile which is hard to find elsewhere (from my own personal experience)!
As for the other staff members - Celeste - well what can I say !!! Prompt emails that are also personal which bring a smile to your face), friendly, efficient and professional, and no task is too big or small. I am always asked if I would like to attend routine inspections, we are kept up to date by photographs of our properties, lease renewals and rental payments are always on time.
We are both so happy that we made the change to @ Home property, we have great tenants. We take pride in our properties and we have the utmost confidence that the TEAM @ Home treat our properties as though they were their own. THANKYOU SO MUCH!!

"I am a single home owner, 22 years of age. For a year I managed my own property which was OK, but I had no idea what I was doing. I am lucky that I had a really good tenant who I didn't have to chase for rent and who looked after the place really well. The tenant's lease ran out and he was no longer able to continue renting my property for various reasons. After a long hard think I decided that if I was not lucky enough to get another good tenant I wouldn't know what to do. I wouldn't know how to handle late rent payments, damaged property or any other of the many things that can go wrong with leasing a property. So I decided I needed to find a property manager.

When I purchased my house it was being leased through a real estate agent and the tenant had approximately 6 months left on the lease. I had an extremely difficult time trying to deal with this real estate agency regarding late payment of rent, property damage and various other matters. In the end the tenant's lease had expired and I was due to move in. I went to my property only to find that the tenant was still there and hadn't started packing. There were no signs that the tenant had even considered leaving the property! I tried to get in contact with the property manager and after leaving 5+ messages I had no other choice but to speak with the tenant directly.

Needless to say, I didn't even consider leasing my property through this agent again! However during my research of other real estate agencies I found that this kind of thing is not uncommon. Then I stumbled across @Home Property Management through a google search. I instantly took a liking to the company as their soul focus is Property Management. The next day on my lunch break I went to them without making an appointment, had a meeting with Michelle and signed on the dotted line within the hour. They are outstanding in their knowledge of not only Property Management, but also what I like to call, Tenant Management. The selection process differs from any other in that their number one consideration is what will work best for me. Not for their business.

The next day we went through the property and took photo's, that same night my property was advertised on the Internet. It took just over 24 hours after my initial meeting for the advertising to begin! 2 days after advertising I had a tenant signed up to a lease for 12 months. @Home Property Management have been absolutely outstanding. They have gone above and beyond any expectations I had of Property Management. They organised for the property to be cleaned, carpets done and gardening up to scratch which took a massive weight off my shoulders. I am always kept in the loop of how things are going via email. And if I have any questions, all I have to do is shoot off an email, and the response is almost immediate. I fully trust @Home Property Management to look after my property, and myself really!

Another thing I would like to mention is Building and Landlord insurance. I gave Michelle a copy of my policy I had with a well known insurer, she took it away, analysed it against another company and came back to me with a better policy with extra cover for approximately $100 less a year!

There is not one negative thing I have to say about @Home Property Management. I recommend them 100%."

The search for a rental property was not something I never expected in my life journey. As I embarked upon the process I was shocked to find myself treated as a second class citizen who was not only expected to prove my honesty and integrity but I was made to conform to a set of unrealistic and inconvenient arrangements dictated by young bolshy people working for local real estate agents. Suddenly I had dual identities as I worked as a strong, professional, organised and independent woman, while navigating the rental process as a frightened, frustrated, tested and horrified woman being treated as stupid, disorganised and demanding. My frustration arose because I found it difficult having to behave in a competitive way with other 'renters' while feeling the need to conform to real estate practices that were cold, disorganised, inefficient, patronising and lacked basic human compassion.

My experience with @Home Property Management was truly refreshing. The individualised response to my original inquiry about a property was extremely professional, unexpected and welcome. The ability to view the property on the basis of my convenience and without the presence of other 'renters' was very much appreciated. The organised and streamlined system of submitting paperwork online was not only efficient but reflects current consumer expectations. The most outstanding aspect of working with @home Property Management relates to the staff. The professionalism, efficiency and genuine desire to assist me reflected a high level of human compassion that I found comforting at a time when my life was in complete disarray. It is reassuring to find that several months into the rental experience, the professionalism and support of the staff has remained constant and for that I am truly grateful.

Myself and my family have been tenants with @home Property Management for a little over a year now and I have to say that in the years I have been involved in the rental process I have never met a team of professionals who not only handle the business side of property management at the highest level as they do but also the personal side of it in the way of friendliness and understanding toward tenants.

The team, all of which are aware of us as tenants, which is rare, to find a property management team that when you call the office, no matter who answers they know who you are is hard to come by, not to mention nice. Aside from that they speak to a tenant as a person and a customer not just a source of income/investment for themselves or the owners of the property which is very comforting.

The whole team want what is best for all involved and I would recommend them as the number 1 choice for property management, not just for property owners/investors but for tenants as well.

Well what can we Say! Other than a big thank you to the team at @Home Property Management. Their service and customer satisfaction are second to none, their reliability, promptness and friendliness have all far surpassed our expectations.

Currently I am employed in the real estate industry working for a company that only deals with property sales so when it came to choosing a property manager it was a decision I knew from experience had to be right at the very beginning because getting this decision wrong can be very costly.

Working in the industry and speaking daily with landlords whom had many property management horror stories this was a scary prospect. Then along came Michelle & Matt from @Home property Management. We liked the fact that at the very beginning they sat down with both my husband and I and told us what costs we would be up for and what benefits we would receive in return as well as what responsibilities they consider to be most important on their side of the whole transaction. After this conversation my husband and I where left feeling confident that this company was the one for us. We both agree that this was the best decision.

Working in real estate I still hear the property management horror stories and every time I then recommend that they have a chat with Michelle, Matt or Celeste.

I am thrilled to bits for the business as I have seen it grow to employ more staff hence the employment of Sally Burling who now manages our properties. I am presently a property owner who has a rental property managed through @ Home Property Management.

If I could give the ultimate compliment it would be that I would happily employ this dedicated team of professionals to manage all of the properties I own; the only barrier is that these other properties are outside the State of Tasmania.

@ Home Property Management exemplifies what should be the bench mark for property management services. I have had the experience of working with numerous property management agencies, and not once have I found such resolve as I have with @ Home Property Management.

As a property investor I have taken a risk. I have taken the risk that I will leave a property for which I paid good money to a group of essentially strangers to come and live within that home. I would not have the trust to lend a total stranger my personal vehicle, so to leave them a house is a substantial risk. So why do I take such a risk? Because I place a great deal of trust in a group of professionals who I consider that for an amount of compensation will appropriately and efficiently manage that property and the “strangers” that are living therein. But to find trust in a group of professionals one needs to see results; and results is what I have seen from @ Home Property Management.

Results as observed from @ Home Property Management has been any thing from easy to understand and well laid out remittance statements, returning phone calls and emails in a timely manner, undertaking scheduled inspections as agreed, and openly and frankly discussing with me areas of concern or feedback without bias toward me or the tenant. But results go beyond what should be seen as the bare basics of property management. @ Home Property Management have instead completed all of the aforesaid with genuine interest and style. For example, their online Newsletter which is regularly sent out is a wonderful piece of media and information for tenants and owners alike. Furthermore, each time I have gone into their office every single member of their team knows my name, and shows a true interest in asking about my day, not just an interest in my property.

Lastly, as stated above, I as a property investor have opened up my home to a group of strangers to live within. But in doing so, I want that property to feel like a home for those tenants. In wanting this, I want my tenants to not feel dogged by a property manager, but treated with dignity and care. Again, @ Home Property Management has met my lofty criteria in what constitutes a sound property management agency. One incident says it all; in attending a recent inspection with @ Home Property Management my tenant happened to be home. The tenant did not treat the property manager as a person in authority, but rather approached the agent with calmness, humour and total ease. This approach from the tenant can only come from the engagement of the pair that preceded that moment. This said enough for me.

So, as I started out, I can only heap commendation and praise on this agency. I wish them the very best in the upcoming awards.
